This project was for a contractor we frequently work with, who needed a new roof on his shop—a historic trolley house built in the 1800s. Over the years, the roof had been layered with quick fixes and multiple layovers, making removal a unique challenge.

To tackle this, we developed a specialized removal method, modifying a garden rototiller to break up and remove the thick foam layers. Once the roof was cleared, we installed a high-performance welded seam PVC roofing system—a durable, long-lasting solution that will likely remain intact well into the next century.

This project blended innovation with preservation, ensuring the historic structure remains protected for generations to come.
