With both homeowners working from home, the wife was eager to move her office out of the basement and into a brighter, more comfortable space. To make this happen, we designed a second-story addition above the garage, creating a new master bedroom and converting the existing master into her dream office.

We began by reinforcing the garage walls and removing the roof, then installed an engineered TJI floor joist system—eliminating the need for additional support beams or posts. The addition was seamlessly integrated with the existing home, featuring matching siding for a cohesive look. Inside, we installed beautiful engineered hardwood flooring throughout the new bedroom and office, finishing it off with upgraded trim for a refined touch.

To add character, the homeowner requested a feature wall, so we designed and installed a stylish board-and-batten accent wall. For optimal climate control, we installed a new one-zone mini-split system, ensuring comfort year-round. The result? A stunning, functional space that perfectly met their needs.
